Ingress Protection (IP66)

The Hager IP66 range of switches and sockets are designed to provide power and control in harsh environments around the home, in office and in industry. The products are rated to IP66 in accordance with BS EN 60529 and will withstand dust and water jet ingress. The housing is made of UV stabilised chemically resistant polycarbonate to ensure high impact resistance and long maintenace free life.

Expert tips

1. Dust and Waterproof

Products are dust tight and can be washed with a pressure hose.

2. Easy to maintain

The neoprene seals will not stick together, and hence do not need replacing. The seal will not stain the cable.

3. Complete IP66 protection

Lid can be closed fully when 13A plug with cord grip in inserted.
